Experiments were conducted in 3 years trials, for determination of some heavy metals concentration like Pb, Ni, Fe, Cu, Cd, Zn and Mn in Aras river. The first measurement of the heavy metals concentration was performed in Aras base and lateral rivers, then their concentrations in river irrigated soils and crops were measured monthly for 36 months. Results show that the measured concentrations in soil and crops were significantly higher than the critical levels.
