Isolation and introduction of Paecilomyces Fumosoroseus from beet cyst nematods Heterodera schachtii

Abstract

Paecilomyces Fumosoroseus was isolated from cysts of sugar beet nematode from Chenaran area in Khorasan. Suspension of eggs and juveniles were spread on 0.8% water agar and infected nematodes were transferred to PDA. Colony diameter on PDA in 10 days at 15°C =0.53;  20°C=2.4; 25°C=4.3; 30°C=0.0cm, basal felt with raised floccose overgrowth, white at first, changing to pink shades, reverse uncoloured or pale yellow to pale orange buff. Lacking adour and drops, conidiophores single or synnemata, ends, hyaline, borne, in chains, and 2.61×1.98µ
